Abstract

This abstract examines the role of the principal in the implementation of Integrated Education Quality Management at MIS Al-Washliyah Kec. Kualuh Leidong. The study aims to understand how the principal manages and applies the principles of SBM, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the success of its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews and observations, and data analysis conducted through a gradual triangulation process. The results show that the principal's role in implementing SBM has not been optimal, due to internal factors such as limited knowledge and understanding, and external factors such as frequently changing regulations and limited funding. Nevertheless, the success of SBM implementation in the school is supported by the discipline and motivation of all school components, including teachers and education staff. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing the capacity of principals and all school members to achieve effective and sustainable educational management.
