AI Use, Similarity, and Plagiarism Policy
Mumtaz Journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and responsible scholarly publishing. Authors are expected to ensure that submitted manuscripts represent genuine scholarly work and comply with the journal's publication ethics.
Use of Artificial IntelligenceAuthors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as supporting tools for activities such as language improvement, grammar checking, translation, or editorial assistance. However, AI tools must not replace the author's intellectual contribution, research process, critical analysis, or scholarly responsibility.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and content of their manuscripts. Any use of AI that substantially contributes to the preparation of the manuscript should be transparently disclosed in accordance with the journal's policy.
Similarity CheckAll submitted manuscripts may be subjected to a similarity check as part of the editorial screening process. Authors are responsible for properly paraphrasing and citing sources and ensuring that their manuscripts do not contain inappropriate textual overlap with previously published works.
A similarity report is considered as one part of the editorial assessment and does not, by itself, determine whether plagiarism has occurred.
Plagiarism and Academic MisconductMumtaz Journal does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct.
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or other serious ethical violations may be rejected or withdrawn, and appropriate action may be taken in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and applicable scholarly publishing standards.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their work is original, properly cited, and submitted in good faith.
